Seed Library

Person checking their sprouts

The Seed Library makes free seeds available for pick-up at the  Adult Services Department each growing season. In addition to free seeds, check out resources and attend workshops about growing and using plants from your seeds!

A seed library is an open community seed exchange where people can pick up seeds to try in their gardens (and bring back seeds the next season).

Seed Library FAQ

We have vegetable, herb, and flower seeds mid March-September.

Each person can take up to 5 seed packets per month.

Prepare seeds from your garden according to the county extension office guidelines. Bring them to the library with clear labels, and we will package them for others to try!
