Hemingway in Michigan Grand Opening
Friday, January 12, 2:00 p.m.

The Hemingway exhibit, on loan to OPL from the Clarke Historical Library, CMU, explores those years Ernest Hemingway spent in Michigan and the literature he wrote about this state. We will be honored to welcome Frank Boles, Director of the Clarke Historical Library, and Michael R. Federspiel, Professor of History at Central Michigan University, for a look at Hemingway’s personal and literary connections to Michigan and how the Clarke Historical Library preserves and promotes those connections. Special artifacts from the Clarke will be on display and light refreshments will be served. Please join us fireside, in the adult room.
