Fandom Kingdom

Meet other teens who share your interests and discover new Fandoms at this teen-run program (that means YOU decide what to do each month—whether discussing the latest film adaption or working on your fan fiction). Whatever your Fandom, this is the place for you!

**Unicorns & Zombies Lock In
*To attend Lock- In programs, you MUST register and bring a parent-signed permission slip.*Friday October 20 @ 6:00-9:00 p.m.At this magically zombified event, we’ll make Sparkly Unicorn Snot and Edible Unicorn Poop and have themed activities like Unicorn Fighting and Zombie Apocalypse Survival Game. Plus, pizza, crafts, prizes and our traditional game. Registration and parent-signed permission slip required. Space limited!

Study Skills Class
Tuesday, September 19, 6:30-7:30
It’s a new school year and it’s time to develop new study habits! Aimed at middle schoolers and their parents, learn how to get organized and focused on school work. This presentation is from Above Grade Level Tutoring. 

SAT Practice Test
Saturday, September 23 @10:30 a.m.
Follow Up Meeting for Results- Wednesday, September 27 @ 7:00 pm.
Adult-proctored practice test with personalized results. Bring #2 pencils and a graphing calculator. Follow Up meeting for test results will be Wednesday, September 27, 7:00 p.m. Please provide an e-mail address when registering.

Join us for a week of high seas fun!  Hunt for treasure, try the daily riddle, and find your pirate name.  Arrgh! 

Banned Book Week
September 24-30
Guess what book is in our banned book jar for a small prize.  Use old books to make art or black out poetry. 

Teen Read Week 2017—Unleash Your Story
October 8-14
Celebrate reading by writing your own 6 Word Story!  Stop in the teen department and chose a sticky note to write your story on.  Each story enters you in a prize drawing.
