Teen Summer Reading Program

All programs are free!

Register!  Beginning June 6, you can sign up in person, by phone or online, but you will need to come in to pick up your Bingo Gameboard. If you register between June 6 and June 14, you'll get one extra ticket for the Grand Prize Drawing.

Read! You can choose to read by time OR by book - please don't double-dip by counting your reading by book as reading by time.

Attend Programs! You can get credit for attending up to four Teen Lab Programs (Mad Scientist Monday and Wacky Wednesdays) as well as up to four Ongoing Teen Programs.

Write Reviews! You may substitute a book review for any space you are otherwise unable to complete. The best reviews will be selected to be published on Teen Picks, OPL's book blog (oplteenpicks.blogspot.com).

Win Prizes! Bring your Gameboard in to get stamped. How does it work?

  • You'll recieve a ticket for each stamp. Each ticket is an entry into that week's prize drawing. At the end of each week, each of those tickets will go into the buckets as an entry for our Grand Prize Drawing.
  • Have FOUR CORNERS? You'll get a special, one-time only prize.
  • Make TWO BINGOS and you'll get an invitation to our exclusive Mythbusters Lock-In on Friday, August 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Are you an overachiever? Did you BLACKOUT your entire board? You'll get five extra tickets for our Grand Prize Drawing. Each ADDITIONAL BINGO (after the first two) will get you two extra tickets for our Grand Prize Drawing.
  • All Bingo Gameboards must be turned into the library by July 31st. Grand Prize Drawing will be held on Friday, August 1. Need not be present to win.
